The move is a part of the government’s drive to improve the infrastructure and technology infrastructure for the country’s poor and disadvantaged people.
India’s robots will be used to build new houses in the country, the ministry said.
The robots are being developed by R&R Research, a robotics company based in the United Kingdom that has raised more than $400 million.
The company is aiming to use the robots to build more than 10,000 homes in the next three years, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said in a statement.
